Jasper Engines & Transmissions

I hate having to make a post like this, but after months of trying to resolve this issue privately, I feel other shops and customers deserve to know about my experience. My company sent a rare Cobra engine, valued at approximately $10,000, to Jasper for rebuilding. The engine belonged to an active-duty U.S. service member who was counting on having his vehicle completed when he returned home. We were working under a strict timeline to make that happen. Jasper had the engine for months and was unable to source the parts needed to complete the rebuild. We eventually requested that the engine be returned and paid the teardown and machine work fees. After waiting even longer for its return, the engine arrived damaged. The engine was shipped back in a partially assembled condition, and internal components were damaged during transit. This is a rare 25-year-old Cobra engine with limited parts availability, making replacement extremely difficult and expensive. What has been even more disappointing than the damage itself has been the response. While trying to get answers and a resolution, I was told by Jasper outside sales manager Shane Glenn that he was going to block my number and st

I asked D&B if my engine and some other stuff could be replaced? The answer was "Yes". After the installation I noticed that sticker. I just wanted to say thanks for the craftsmanship and quality.

Put a Jasper 351 windsor in our 94 ford bronco and could not be happier! Engine runs better than the original engine ever did. We bought jadper this time because when I replaced a engine in 07 Ford f150 with a Ford crate engine we had nothing but issues with it. Should have gone with jasper the first time. Will definitely buy another jasper engine again!

Great company and amazing product. Put a Jasper in my Jeep over 25 years ago after the original motor blew after only 6 years and 80k miles. The Jasper is still running strong in 2025. Thank you.

Purchased 4.7 dodge engine from dealer. Engine ran for less than 900 miles then through a rocker arm off. Dealer replaced valve lash adjuster. Check engine light has been on most of the time the engine has been installed. Truck is in the shop again for misfire code running on 7 cylinders. I have been able to drive the truck about 3 weeks in the last 4 months and do not feel comfortable driving more than a few miles from the house due to breaking down on the road. Jasper will not pay dealers unless they produce a broken part. This experience has been a nightmare. Extremely frustrated.
